A Look Back

times square new year's eve ball

As I reflect on the year that has passed, I feel really good about it.  And when I look forward to 2013, I am inspired and energized about what is to come.  I once heard someone say that during the course of ones life there are really only a handful of events that are truly life-changing.  I’ve always believed that to be true, until now.  As I look back on this year, I discovered that small events and subtle changes have been transformational.

It started with the launch of my blog.  The goal was really just to practice writing and focus more attention on a hobby which I’ve always enjoyed.  My earlier posts were polite and reserved, but after I began to find my voice, I started to touch upon topics that were sensitive and teetered on the private side.  This unleashed some criticism.  But controversy can be thought-provoking and an honest opinion, even if harsh at times, has always been my hallmark.

Blogging has provided me with a creative outlet that freely streams my consciousness to help form thoughts and ideas.  One idea has bred another – causing a volcano of creative energy to erupt into my life.  And through research, I have discovered other writers and gurus whose profound wisdom has taught me a more open and loving approach to living.  It has changed my outlook and mindset and it brings with it unimaginable abundance.

To think that I am in the infant stages of this endeavor blows me away; so far it has truly been life changing.   For those of you who have followed my blog through the year I wish to thank you for your support and ask for your continued commitment.  I don’t know what the New Year will bring or how this blog will continue to take shape, but I trust that it will be amazing.  So stick around as I’m just getting started – and it’s just starting to get good!

Good-bye 2012 and thank you for your kindness.
